Urunji Child-Care Trust seeks the services of a female Programme Officer to be based in Lilongwe. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Social Work or Community Development. Equivalent qualifications are also acceptable. Applicants with a valid driving license and a safe driving record are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job demands include hands-on work including periodic travel to project areas. A higher level of interaction with children, community members and teachers is typical of this job. Full details can be downloaded on this link.

1. Accounts Assistant (Closed)
The position demands a qualified individual with a passion for helping needy children. UCCT conducts an extensive research on people holding this post which includes but is not limited to police clearance and qualifications vetting. The Accounts Assistant’s primary job is filing receipts, photocopying financial documents, writing petty cash vouchers and making sure filed vouchers correspond to the account listing. 2. Driver (Closed)
The primary aim of a driver is to offer driving services to both local and international staff. The successful candidate will from time to time be required to drive partners and stakeholders on official trips. The post requires an individual with a high level of discipline, safety, integrity and good time-management. 3. Administrative Assistant (Closed)
UCCT seeks a qualified and highly motivated individual to fill the vacancy of an Administrative Assistant. The candidate should have hands-on experience in administrative work in a small to medium sized Non-Governmental Organisation.
