Your sponsored child establishes a bond with you even though you are at a distance. We understand there may be factors that may necessitate termination of sponsorship –it could be death of a sponsored child, economic transformation of the family, lack of income by the sponsor and many others. It could also be that the child has grown and is now able to stand on their own. As a sponsor, you are under no obligation to keep sponsoring this child. Of course we would suggest another child in the event that you still want to help. Sponsorship is a fulfilling form of giving and 97% of sponsors move on to sponsor the next child.
