Child Sponsorship
We sponsor children in most vulnerable communities, meeting their basic needs and ensuring that they receive primary school education.
Environmental Recovery
We partner with local communities and schools to mitigate deforestation by planting trees, providing seedlings and raising awareness on climate change.
Livelihoods Development
We work with communities to improve their livelihoods, to empower the physically challenged, and to find solutions to common problems that can be solved with locally available resources.
Malaria prevention
With support from various partners, Urunji implements a malaria prevention programme. This includes distribution of mosquito bed nets as well as working with communities on activities that prevent the breeding of mosquitos.
We understand that mosquito nets alone do not totally eliminate the threat of malaria. We therefore apply other measures such as indoor residual spraying to ensure maximum efficiency of our malaria prevention activities.
