Urunji Coronavirus Emergency Response

Urunji was among the early responders to the Covid pandemic. We provided portable hand-washing facilities as well as personal protective equipment (PPE) to some of the communities where we work.

Our Prevention Strategy

Hand Washing

By providing resources like hand-washing buckets and soap, we were able to play our role in prepping the community for the pandemic.

Cleaning & Disinfectants

We provided cleaning materials such as chlorine to selected schools in our catchment area.

Face masks

With the help of some of the girls in our programme, we produced face masks using off-cuts from the tailoring programme.
